Gameplay Mechanics Video  





(This is proof of concept using UNITY 5.0 2D mode, all art are placeholders, once I have a good feeling on gameplay I will work on using updated assets) (VIDEO QUALITY is terrible, I need to find out how to fix it)
Here is a test of double jumps, dash and attacking functionality, the ground attacks use animation events that let me specify the time an attack start, the actual hit starts and ends as well as when the whole animation for the attack ends, useful as well to know when a combo can be chained. The music and effects I took from a "Mazinger Z" episode its just for demonstration. 
The ground attacks are more responsive than the air  and dash attacks because they use the new system I just mentioned.
Note: sounds got spammed in the ground attacks, that is a bug.
